Organizations and workspaces

Create another organization

A second organization is a separate team with its own members, credit balance and workspaces. Make one from the switcher; you become its owner, and it starts with a Default workspace and no credits.

A second organization is a separate team: its own members, its own credit balance, its own workspaces. Use it for a separate business or a client who pays separately; for a team inside the same company, a workspace is enough.

Steps

  1. 1

    Open New organization

Choose New organization at the bottom of the workspace switcher.

  2. 2

    Name it

Name, up to 80 characters. You can change it, and its URL name, later under Settings → Organization → General.

  3. 3

    Create it

Choose Create organization. You become its owner and the app opens its Default workspace.

You're done when

The switcher lists both organizations, with you as Owner of each.

What it starts with

  • A Default workspace (admin: you), with the three environments and its own API key.
  • A credit balance of its own, at zero. Free credits come once, with your first account, so buy a pack before its agents can answer.
  • No members: invite them from its Members page. People in your first organization aren't in this one.
  • Your first organization doesn't change. Switch between them from the top of the menu.
I'm on the demo account

Demo accounts can't make organizations.

Can I delete an organization?

Yes, its owner can, once nobody else is in it. See Delete an organization.

Can someone else run it after me?

Yes: make them the owner. See Transfer ownership.
