Apps and actions reference

Every app you can connect, what it needs, and each of its 34 actions, 17 of which change data in the app. Plus limits, and the six apps listed as Needs setup.

Reference3 min readUpdated 31 October 2026

18 apps can be connected today, with 34 actions between them. An action either only reads (search, find, read, list) or changes data: it posts, sends, creates, updates, appends or comments. An agent's Toolbox marks those with Changes data and asks before switching one on: see Use apps as agent tools.

Good to know per app

  • Slack: the bot token needs chat:write, chat:write.public and channels:read. Post a message can reply in a thread.
  • Microsoft Teams and Discord: anyone with the webhook URL can post, so keep it secret. Discord turns @everyone and role mentions off.
  • Telegram: add the bot to the group or channel it should post in.
  • Twilio: From is your Twilio number in international format, or a Messaging Service SID (MG…).
  • Notion: share each page or database with the integration (its Connections menu), or it can't see it.
  • Google Sheets: enable the Google Sheets API for the service account's project and share each spreadsheet with the service account. Rows are written as plain text, so a value like =SUM(A1:A3) is never run as a formula.
  • Airtable: the token needs data.records:read and data.records:write and access to each base.
  • GitHub: a fine-grained token for the repositories it should use, with Issues: Read and write.
  • HubSpot: the private app needs crm.objects.contacts.read and crm.objects.contacts.write.
  • Shopify: a custom app with read_orders, read_products and read_inventory. Stripe: a restricted key with Read access to Customers and Invoices only.
  • Tavily: your own API key. It also powers the agents' built-in Search the web tool.
  • Web page reader: reads public pages as text (500 to 20,000 characters, 8,000 by default), following up to 3 redirects. Workflows need it connected once; agents' Read web pages tool doesn't.
